This is like a whole novel in a poem. You told a story , Carter , a story that hit my senses as I read. Very profound , deep and thought provoking. Your emotions are portrayed with such intensity that the reader feels the angst and the sensitivity of the poet.
You have fathomed words quite deep. How I wish I was the proud poet of this piece!
